Our firm devotes a portion of its practice to the representation of families who have needs related to special education, general education, and the representation of children and adults who find themselves facing the unfortunate prospect of expulsion and/or juvenile or adult criminal charges. We also represent children with Special Needs (Autism and other Developmental Disabilities) who have issues with their School Districts and the Regional Centers. The Regional Centers are charged with finding services for those with Autism, Seizure Disorders (e.g., Epilepsy), Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation/Intellectual Disabilities, and conditions requiring similar services.
Counsel also represents adults in misdemeanor as well as complex felony criminal defense litigation in the state and federal courts. Counsel has extensive experience in representing adults and juveniles who are arrested for alleged crimes under state and federal law.
Representation is offered to persons and families for assistance in minor, but serious, misdemeanors such as Driving Under the Influence (DUI), battery, domestic violence, and other similar charged crimes. Representation needs also include assistance in more serious felony charges. No charged offense is minor for the client and all contact with law enforcement is serious, no matter the subject.
